Narcissus Fairy Gaiwan

£50.00

This gaiwan — or “lidded tea bowl” — is a classic vessel in Chinese tea culture, used for both steeping and drinking tea. Inspired by the Narcissus Fairy (凌波仙子), a poetic reference from Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian, this design captures ethereal beauty of the narcissus flower, symbolising purity, elegance, and refined grace.

It features a soft yellow body and delicate narcissus flower motifs on the rim and lid. It is ideal for solo tea sessions or gongfu-style brewing, offering a hands-on connection with the tea-making process.
