Traditionally used in gongfu tea ceremonies, a teapot tray (壶承) serves as a resting place for a teapot, catching drips and framing the brewing vessel with intention. This version, crafted in Dehua from coarse clay, features a shallow bowl shape and a natural lotus white glaze — a creamy, rustic tone with subtle speckling.

Its 14.1 cm diameter makes it versatile beyond the tea table — perfect as a dessert plate or side dish in a minimalist or wabi-sabi setting.
