About the glaze

This natural wood-ash glaze is made from the ash of various plants such as pine, straw, and olive branches. Rich in potassium, sodium, and calcium oxides, wood ash acts as a natural flux during high-temperature firing, helping the glaze melt and flow evenly over the surface.

This traditional glaze produces a soft, earthy finish. Depending on the source of plants, the glaze may develop different tones, celebrating the beauty of imperfection.
